IVF Patient Moves to Dismiss Irvine Scientific Solution Suit

A fertility patient dropped her proposed class action against Fujifilm Irvine Scientific Inc. after alleging the medical lab distributed a defective oil used to culture embryos during in vitro fertilization treatment.

Plaintiff K.S. voluntarily dismissed her claims with prejudice against Irvine Scientific, its owner, Fujifilm Holdings America Corp., and 10 unidentified individuals, according to her dismissal notice filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
