ITS Logistics and a group of current and former truck drivers are again proposing a class action settlement to end the drivers’ wage lawsuit.
The proposed $550,000 settlement was filed with the US District Court for the Eastern District of California on Monday. Two years ago, a magistrate judge denied preliminary approval of another proposed $365,000 settlement deal for being too small.
The 235 proposed settlement class members would split up $270,000 of that amount, just under half of the proposal’s gross settlement amount. The rest would go toward $137,500 in attorneys fees, $100,000 to address penalties stemming from California’s ...
