iRobot Hit With Class Claims Over Deceptive Marketing Scheme

iRobot Corp. deployed a deceptive marketing scheme by commonly advertising discounts on their cleaning products, but never actually selling them at the original price, a consumer alleged in federal court.

The proposed class action lawsuit said that iRobot consistently sells their vacuums and cleaning appliances at a “purportedly discounted price, and never at the original reference prices,” according to the Wednesday filing in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
