The families of the Camp Chapman bombing victims won a $268 million default judgment against Iran for its role providing safe harbor and resources to al-Qaeda.
An al-Qaeda suicide bomber killed 9 CIA personnel at the camp in 2009 in the deadliest attack on the agency since September 11. Familes of two of the victims, Jeremy Wise and Dane Paresi, told the US District Court for the District of Columbia that the abrupt death of their loved ones caused them acute trauma.
