Introducing Bloomberg Law’s 2025 Unrivaled

Our debut of Unrivaled features trial lawyers who lead the legal profession in high-stakes and impactful trials and settlements.

Hailing from Big Law to boutiques, each of our 32 honorees built winning teams and strategies designed to defeat their opponents in jury bench and trials. Each walked away victorious with verdicts, post-trial wins, or favorable settlements.

Simply put: These litigators do not mess around.

In antitrust, two honorees respectively represented—and opposed—the National Football League over league teams’ alleged agreements regarding game broadcasts.

Others went to bat for NCAA Division 1 college athletes, seeking benefits on their behalf. They also stood across “the v.” from Google, representing Epic Games, Inc. in a row over the alleged anticompetitive behavior in mobile app distribution.

And in the world of intellectual property, our litigators mixed it up in a range of patent infringement actions, defending Cisco and battling Amazon on behalf of brothers who as one litigator said, sought “to build the world’s first true “Star Trek” computer.”

As our team of news editors and litigation analysts pored over a collection of impressive submissions, standouts also emerged in areas such as energy, securities, tax, product liability and mass torts, and other commercial disputes.

Now, we’re excited for our debut honorees to tell their battle stories, share their winning strategies and recall the moments they first knew they wanted to be trial lawyers.

They also weigh in on key advice they’ve gotten from mentors and offer their best tips for the next generation.
