Intellectual Property Firm Says Site Impersonates Its Attorneys

Greer Burns & Crain Ltd says the operators of GBCS.law are impersonating the intellectual property law firm’s attorneys in an effort to release court-ordered asset restraints imposed on certain defendants in their cases.

The firm alleges the website’s operators are using its trademarks in connection with fraudulent legal services, creating a false designation of origin and misrepresentation of fact in violation of the Lanham Act.
