Intel Wins Reprieve From Investors’ Securities Fraud Lawsuit

Intel Corp. investors failed to adequately allege the computer technology company made misleading statements about an internal reorganization, a federal court ruled Tuesday, rejecting their securities fraud lawsuit.

The investors didn’t show Intel and its executives made false statements about the separate segment for manufacturing services, Judge Trina L. Thompson said for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. The investors will have a chance to re-plead their claims.
