Instant Pot Makers Sued for Safety After Explosions Cause Injury

Pressure cooker makers Instant Brands LLC and Corelle Brands LLC were hit with lawsuits alleging home cooks suffered burn injuries when they opened the lids of their Instant Pots while the appliances were still under pressure.

The consumers say the pressure cooker makers should have known about the safety defect and the incidents happened as a result of the companies’ failure to redesign the devices.
