Professional Labor Group LLC failed to show that it’s entitled to judgment as a matter of law in a worker suit alleging the company owes wages for time spent traveling to job assignments.
The company hires skilled tradespeople and sends them to work on clients’ projects, allegedly without paying workers for travel time to their assigned jobsites. “The facts here are undisputed,” but “the legal conclusions are not,” so PLG’s summary judgment motion fails, the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana said.
