Inspire’s Sleep-Apnea Systems Targeted in Nyxoah Patent Suit

Two of Inspire Medical Systems Inc.'s implantable sleep-apnea therapy systems infringe three Nyxoah SA patents covering low-current neurostimulation technology, a federal lawsuit said.

The Inspire IV and V infringe US Patent Nos. 8,700,183, 9,415,215, and 9,415,216, according to a complaint docketed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.

Inspire said in a statement the company takes intellectual property matters “seriously” and “intend to vigorously defend against these claims.”
