VCA sued Indeed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, alleging the company’s job listings website violates VCA’s exclusive right to commercialize its patented process for accepting media submissions, storing them in a database, releasing them to an audience for review and bidding, then processing appropriate payments for the involved parties.
