Immigration Groups Drop LexisNexis Suit Over ICE Info Sharing

Three political activists and two immigration-reform groups dropped their lawsuit against LexisNexis Risk Solutions Inc. over its sale of consumers’ personal information to private companies and law enforcement agencies, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The plaintiffs filed a stipulation of voluntary dismissal with prejudice in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Wednesday, a move that often indicates a settlement has been reached.
