Illinois’s Supreme Court justices on Wednesday were critical of interpretations of a state antitrust law that has allowed temporary staffing agencies to work together to set worker wages and tamp down competition for employees.
State Attorney General Kwame Raoul (D) alleged that no-poach and wage-fixing deals created by staffing agency competitors Elite Staffing Inc., Metro Staffing Inc., and Midway Staffing Inc., and their common client, Colony Display LLC, violated the Illinois Antitrust Act.
