Icon International Hit With Ex-Director’s Sex, Age Bias Claims

A former Icon International Inc. associate director is suing the financial company alleging her supervisor frequently berated and refused to support female employees, negatively impacting their performance and advancement.

Michelle LaBarbera says Icon discriminated against her based on her sex and age, and engaged in retaliation when she complained, according to the lawsuit filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
