Salt & Straw, the Portland-based ice cream chain known for its eclectic flavors, was sued for trademark infringement by the owner of a small batch bakery in Los Angeles over the ice cream chain’s flower-themed flavor collection.
After Lori Stern declined a collaboration with Salt & Straw, the chain announced a collection using her mark anyway, according to the complaint she filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday.
