A prosecutor with the International Criminal Court says President
Eric Iverson said in a complaint that Trump’s Feb. 6 executive order sanctioning the ICC violates the First Amendment and that the president was acting beyond his legal authority. Iverson asked the US District Court for the District of Columbia to declare Trump’s executive order illegal and unconstitutional and enjoin the president from prosecuting him for exercising his First Amendment rights related to his work on Darfur.
