Howden Barred For Now From Soliciting Marsh Clients, Employees

Marsh & McLennan Cos. obtained a court order barring Howden US Services LLC from soliciting its employees and clients, which extends to several former senior Marsh employees who recently joined the insurance broker’s competitor.

Marsh is likely to succeed on the merits of its breach of contract claims against its former employees, as well as its tortious interference with contact claim against Howden, Judge Jennifer L. Rochon of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in a Tuesday order.
