The National Republican Campaign Committee was hit with a class action alleging it sent spam fundraising solicitations via text messages in violation of the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act.
Raleigh Sutherland alleged in the lawsuit that he received five unsolicited text messages from the NRCC despite the fact that he didn’t provide consent to receive the messages and “desperately wants them to stop.”
