A hotel management company was dropped from a discrimination lawsuit alleging a woman was laid off after requesting leave to undergo gender-affirming surgery.
Emma Fendel pleaded plausible claims against Shreeji Hotel Group LLC, but not Hotel Equities LLC, the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina said in a Wednesday opinion partially granting the defendants’ dismissal motions.
