Honey Science LLC convinced a federal judge to toss a proposed class action filed by UK users of its browser extension for discounts because they couldn’t show how their proposed remedy connected to what they claimed they lost.
The consumers couldn’t show that they were entitled to a broad disgorgement of Honey’s profits or that the extension invaded their privacy, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in dismissing the lawsuit with prejudice Monday.
