Honda Civic Driver Alleges Infotainment System Glitchy, Unsafe

Certain Honda Civic vehicles have a flawed infotainment system that “malfunctions, freezes, or crashes,” disabling many safety features and causing driver distraction, a California driver alleges in a new proposed class action.

Improperly designed or calibrated software in 2016-2020 Civics makes the system glitchy, Constance Chiulli says in a suit filed Wednesday against American Honda Motor Co. and Honda Motor Co. in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
