Home Depot Accused of Wage Violations in Proposed Class-Action

The Home Depot Inc. illegally withheld hundreds of thousands of dollars from hourly workers in Massachusetts and Connecticut by not paying them for time spent walking to and from time clocks, according to a proposed class-action complaint filed Thursday.

Time clocks in the distribution centers are located “deep within” the buildings, requiring workers to incur unpaid time before clocking in and after clocking out, the complaint alleges.
