Holiday Inn Club Avoids Liability for Reports to Credit Agency

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Inc. isn’t liable to two clients for allegedly sending inaccurate debt reports to a credit reporting agency, the Eleventh Circuit said.

Tanethia Holden and Mark Mayer bought timeshares from Holiday Inn but stopped making monthly payments and, citing the terms of their agreements, considered their debt canceled. Holiday Inn reported the debts to Experian Information Solutions Inc.
