New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) on Thursday appointed Marsha Michael to serve as an associate justice on the New York Supreme Court 1st Appellate Department, she announced in a news release.
Michael has been a justice in the Bronx County Supreme Court since 2018. She is chair of the Gender Fairness Committee of the Unified Courts in the Bronx and serves on the board of the Supreme Court Justices Association of the City of New York.
