A gay former project manager can proceed with most of his claims against Hines Interests Limited Partnership alleging bias and retaliation after disclosing his sexual orientation and that he has two children via surrogacy.
But Dominic Maher failed to plead retaliation under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in a Monday opinion partially denying Hines’ dismissal motion.
