The parties notified the US District Court for the District of Nevada Monday that they reached a tentative settlement. Plaintiff Julie Galvez’s first amended complaint alleged Hilton had a policy of refusing to pay timeshare salespeople overtime and failing to pay employees the proper rate when they do receive overtime compensation. Her complaint also claimed timeshare salespeople don’t receive paid rest periods as required by Nevada law, due to Hilton’s policy of compensating employees based on commission.
