Hilton Must Continue Facing Lawsuit From Sex Trafficking Victim

Hilton was unable to defeat a sex trafficking victim’s lawsuit after a federal court ruled Monday that enough allegations have been made to for the case to move forward.

The victim, who is identified as Jane Doe, made sufficient allegations concerning two ventures that Hilton Domestic Operating Company Inc. is accused of participating in, Judge Louise W. Flanagan said in an order in the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Doe adequately alleged that Hilton both facilitated her trafficking and profited from it under a venture between the hotel and her street-level trafficker.
