High-Capacity Gun Magazine Distributor Sued by Shooting Victims

Victims of the April 2021 mass shooting at an Indiana Fedex Corp. facility, and family members, sued the distributor of the high-capacity magazine used by the gunman, alleging American Tactical Inc. recklessly marketed these accessories to troubled young men by using violent imagery.

The actions of American Tactical and others directly and foreseeably channeled a 60-round AR-15 magazine into the hands of the shooter, according to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of New York.
