Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals convinced a federal judge to toss a proposed consumer class action alleging it failed to disclose it paid influencers to promote supplements.
The consumer who brought the suit didn’t allege that she received sub-par products compared to how the supplements were advertised or that they were ineffective, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Wednesday. The court also dismissed claims against the influencers promoting the products.
