Hershey Settles Religious Bias Suit Over Covid-19 Vaccine Policy

The Hershey Co. settled religious discrimination claims brought by a former employee who claimed he was fired for refusing to comply with the company’s Covid-19 vaccination policy.

The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice on Monday, after notifying the US District Court for the District of Minnesota of a settlement agreement in June. Christopher Witham worked for Hershey in 2021 when the company implemented a Covid-19 vaccine mandate.
