Airbnb Must Defend Conservative Groups’ ESG Proxy Lawsuit (3)

The Heritage Foundation and another conservative policy proponent can proceed with a claim against Airbnb Inc. for rejecting their 2025 proxy proposals, a federal court ruled.

But the vacation rental company executives and board members are free of the suit, the US District Court for the District of Delaware said Thursday. Judge Gregory B. Williams dismissed some counts entirely.

Heritage alleged it asked the board to analyze and report on how the company oversees “legal and reputational risks connected with politicized divestments.” Co-plaintiff American Conservative Values ETF said it wanted the board to report on how Airbnb looks at risks ...
