Henry Thayer Co. dupes health-conscious consumers because the vast majority of its “natural” personal care products contain synthetic chemical ingredients, a new lawsuit in Missouri federal court says.
The Thayers Natural Remedies brand “created and continues to maintain a ‘natural’ myth that is displayed prominently on product labels and the company’s website and social media accounts,” Cynthia Early alleges in a Nov. 27 suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
The company touts its 170-year history and calls itself a “legacy brand,” the complaint says.
