Healthwarehouse.com Consumer Advances Meta Info-Sharing Suit

Online pharmacy Healthwarehouse.com must face some claims of a proposed class action alleging it shared consumers’ personal information with Meta Platforms Inc. without their consent in violation of federal and state wiretap and privacy laws.

Plaintiff Shahnaz Zarif established that the court had personal jurisdiction over Health Warehouse, and adequately pleaded two claims under the California Invasion of Privacy Act, Judge Cynthia Bashant of the US District Court for the Southern District of California said in a ruling docketed Thursday.
