Healthcare company AccentCare, Inc. allegedly violated the Equal Pay Act and Title VII by paying female nurses less than a male nurse for equal work, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says in a new federal lawsuit.
Since at least February 2022, AccentCare has engaged in sexual discrimination by paying female nurses less than male nurses for the same work, the EEOC says in its complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
