Health-Ade Sued Over Alleged Harmful PFAS in Kombucha Drinks

Health-Ade LLC deceptively markets kombucha drinks as “health” products despite the presence of dangerous levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, a new proposed class action alleges.

The suit adds to a growing list of lawsuits over PFAS in various consumer products.

Testing by an independent laboratory analysis revealed PFAS chemicals in Kombucha Ginger Pineapple Belly Reset and four other products, Alanna Morton says in a suit filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
