Hasbro Workers Revive Retaliation Suit Over Covid Shot Refusal

Two former employees of Hasbro Inc. revived their employment-discrimination and retaliation lawsuit against the toy and game maker over allegedly adverse actions it took against them after they sought exemptions from the company’s Covid-19 vaccination policy.

Jennifer DeAngelis and Natalie Tomaselli made plausible allegations that the company violated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act after they sought accommodations that would allow them to continue working for the company without getting vaccinated, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit said Thursday.
