Hard Rock Casino and a class of table game dealers received initial approval on a settlement that would pay $650,000 to resolve allegations that the company illegally took tipped wages.

Judge Philip P. Simon gave preliminary approval to the proposed agreement between The Majestic Star Casino LLC a class of dealers represented by Francisco Rodriguez, according to a Monday order in the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
