Nothing about a consultant’s work to locate a buyer for online firearms marketplace GunBroker.com Inc. invalidates a jury verdict awarding him a $500,000 finder’s fee, the Eleventh Circuit ruled Monday.
Even if consultant Matthew Hayden acted as an unregistered broker, Florida law wouldn’t bar the fee, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said in an unsigned, unpublished opinion.
