A marathon runner who contracted Covid-19 at age 29 dropped her lawsuit claiming Guardian Life Insurance Co. owes her disability benefits because her post-Covid symptoms make her unable to work, according to a stipulation filed in California federal court.
The parties’ stipulation, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, says the case will be dismissed with prejudice and with each party paying their own legal fees. The filing included no further details about the parties’ negotiations, and their attorneys didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
