Grocery Service Provider Sued Over 2 Million Person Breach (1)

Ahold Delhaize USA Services LLC, a service provider for some of the biggest grocery store chains in the country, is facing federal class action litigation after reporting it suffered a cyberattack that exposed the personal data of 2.24 million people.

The company’s Dutch affiliate owns chains including Giant, Stop & Shop, Food Lion, and Hannaford. They “comprise the largest grocery retail group on the” East Coast of the US, the company says.
