Google Workers Get Final Nod for Nearly $8.4 Million Wage Deal

Google LLC and workers who say it miscalculated how much it owed them for overtime secured a federal judge’s approval for a settlement worth nearly $8.4 million.

Nearly 4,000 people who worked for the Alphabet Inc. subsidiary are participating in the settlement as members of a state-law class and a Fair Labor Standards Act collective, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in its Tuesday final approval order.
