Google LLC has been hit with dozens of California state court lawsuits seeking monetary damages for claims that its Chrome web brower’s private “incognito” mode continued to collect users’ data.
The lawsuits filed in Superior Court of Santa Clara County on Monday and Tuesday come about a week after the Alphabet Inc. unit settled a sweeping federal class action over browser data, resulting in the search engine agreeing to delete billions of user records.
