Google Sheds Some of Rumble’s Claims in Ad Exchange Lawsuits

Claims against Google LLC were narrowed by a federal judge Tuesday in one of the multiple lawsuits the tech giant faces alleging it suppressed competition in the online display advertising market.

Video platform Rumble Canada Inc. lacks standing, Judge P. Kevin Castel said Tuesday, granting partial dismissal, and failed to adequately allege anti-competitive conduct in its claims related to ad networks, ad-buying, and the online in-stream video advertising market. The district court also rejected Rumble’s claim that Google’s “network bidding agreement” with Facebook was an unlawful restraint of trade.
