Google Settles White Male Ex-Executive’s Bias, Harassment Suit

Google LLC’s former managing director, a white man, who alleged harassment and retaliation by an Asian female director at work, withdrew his lawsuit after the parties reached an undisclosed settlement.

Judge Arun Subramanian dismissed Ryan Olohan’s 2022 lawsuit with prejudice on Wednesday after Olohan requested the dismissal, according to an order. Olohan informed Subramanian in a letter that, despite objections from defendant Tiffany Miller, he and Google had reached a stipulated settlement agreement to resolve the lawsuit.
