Google Partially Defeats Lawsuit by Workspace Early Adopters

Google LLC won dismissal of some claims in a lawsuit alleging the tech giant broke a promise to give early adopters of Google Workspace continuing free access to the suite of business applications.

Judge Beth Labson Freeman of the US District Court for the Northern District of California granted Google’s motion to dismiss the claim for breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, but denied the company’s motion to dismiss the breach of contract claim.
