Google Hit With Patent Suit Over Reverse Lookup Technology

Google LLC is facing infringement claims by the holder of a patent for reverse phone lookup technology used on the inventor’s website, OKCaller.com.

Plaintiff Jeff Isaacs alleges Google is infringing his patent, No. US RE48,847, titled “Post-Page Caller Name Identification System,” by selling infringing apps to consumers on the Google Play Store, “that are performing, implementing, and carrying out, processes and methods specified in the patent.”
