Sholem Weisner sued Google in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Sept. 15, alleging the tech giant’s mapping software, Google Maps, violated his and his co-inventor’s exclusive right to commercialize their patented systems for creating a novel advertising network. Weisner also sued his co-inventor, Shmuel Nemanov, as an involuntary party to the suit.
