Google Hit With Patent Lawsuit Over Content Delivery Network

Google LLC is facing a lawsuit alleging the tech giant is infringing patents designed to alleviate data congestion issues.

Sandpiper CDN LLC filed the lawsuit in the US District Court for the Central District of California, alleging infringement of six patents related to content delivery networks. Sandpiper acquired the rights to the patents from Level 3 Communications in March.
