Google LLC convinced a New York federal court to reduce a jury’s $1 million damages award in a gender bias lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct and pay inequality.
Former executive Ulku Rowe is entitled to a maximum award of $250,000 under the New York City Humans Rights Law, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in an April 3 opinion granting Google’s motion for remittitur.
