Google Denied App Store Order Pause for High Court Review

Google LLC‘s request to pause an order to open its app store to rivals as it potentially seeks US Supreme Court review was denied Friday by Ninth Circuit judges.

The company hasn’t shown the high court would likely take up the case, or that reversal is significantly possible, the judges said in a published order.

The panel on Friday also denied Google’s petition for a rehearing of its unanimous decision to uphold the jury’s finding of antitrust liability, permanent injunction, and final judgment against the company.
